Bio: In September 2004, Bill joined the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation as Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the overall operation and strategic direction of the Foundation. Bill comes to the Foundation after a 31 year career with the Walt Disney Company having worked in the Parks and Resorts division with assignments in Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Resort in Paris. He was a member of the executive team that managed the $2 billion dollar expansion of the Disneyland Resort in Southern California. Bill has a broad background in marketing, communications, planning and development and external relations. He is a chairman emeritus of the Orange County Business Council. He served on numerous nonprofit boards throughout California such as the California Golden State Museum, Children’s Hospital Orange County and Cypress College Foundation. He is a strong advocate of education and completed his undergraduate and graduate degree at California State University Fullerton. In 1989 he was recognized as a distinguished alumnus. Prior to his business career he lectured at California State University, Fullerton for five years.

Bio: Mary began her career with the Foundation in 2003 as Administrative Assistant to then CEO, Karen Chin. In 2004 she was promoted to Manager of Programs & Administration and in 2007 to Director of Programs & Administration.

Mary has over 18 years of nonprofit management & administration experience. Prior to joining the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation, she served as Executive Director of the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council for over 6 years. She is a published editor of multiple wildlife journals, manuscripts and short piece articles, and has an extensive background in conference and event planning. She currently sits on the boards of two nonprofit organizations where she also volunteers her grant writing skills.

One of two girls in a family of eleven children, Mary spent a majority of her formative years in Tampa, Florida, but has lived most of her adult life in Northern California. She is the proud mother of one son, Christian, who resides in Southern California and is an engineering graduate of UCLA. In her spare time Mary enjoys walking her dog Simba, bicycle riding, working out in her home gym, listening to music, and dancing. She loves the ocean and has a passion for animals of all kinds.

Bio: Haleh Nazeri has been the Executive Director of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation – New York Division since January 2007. As Executive Director, Haleh guides the New York Division's fundraising, grant-making, and development projects. Prior to joining the Foundation, Haleh was a senior member of the International and Corporate Affairs department at AIG, working directly for the Chairman on AIG's global strategic initiatives.Haleh has also been a Research Associate at the Council on Foreign Relations, a foreign policy think tank in New York, where she focused on the Middle East and Balkan regions. Haleh received an M.A. in Middle Eastern Studies from New York University, and a B.A. in History and Journalism from the University of California at Santa Cruz. She is a former term member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Bio: Debi has served as the Vice President of Development and Partner Relations for the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation since June 2007.  Prior to joining the Foundation, Debi worked in the medical industry as a pharmaceutical representative, where she was awarded President’s Club for two consecutive years. Most recently Debi opened a coffee franchise with three partners in Los Angeles County. She is also a proud graduate of the University of Southern California and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a split emphasis in Entrepreneurship and Management Information Systems. Actively involved with her sorority, Delta Delta Delta, Debi served as their Events Chairman and currently enjoys planning special events for the Foundation and raising funds for those in need.

In her free time Debi enjoys being with her family and friends, staying fit and is passionate about photography and travel. She is a proud Auntie of three beautiful children and soon a fourth. Raised playing competitive sports and dance, she’s performed at a Chargers half time game and in the Rose Bowl Parade, has been sky-diving and began to explore the world soon after college. Her travels include sailing thru the Belize Islands, France, Spain, Argentina, Costa Rica, Italy, Greece, Cancun, Cozumel and throughout the states. Croatia will be her next adventure.
