Week of Giving Brings Out Record Volunteers from Coast to Coast
October brings many great things: the World Series, fall foliage, Monday Night Football, and Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Most importantly for IICF, October brings Week of Giving. As the largest, industry-wide national volunteer initiative, Week of Giving is an annual highlight for IICF and its supporters. For nearly two decades, Week of Giving has provided insurance professionals a hands-on opportunity to give back to their local communities.
This year's Week of Giving brought out a record number of industry volunteers. Over 4,000 volunteers and 19,000 volunteer hours have already been reported. IICF will be collecting volunteer submissions through the end of October via the Volunteer Reporting Portal. Ensure your organization's volunteer efforts are counted and log your hours today!
Thank you for volunteering, donating, and making a difference. Together, we are helping communities and enriching lives!

Early Literacy Initiative Make an Impact During Week of Giving
In addition to the hundreds of amazing volunteer projects offer during Week of Giving, the IICF Early Literacy Initiative was out in full force. IICF company supporters partnered with local libraries across the nation to host community events highlighting early literacy. Some famous Sesame Street friends even joined the fun. Elmo and Cookie Monster helped to promote literacy at local public libraries in New York, Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles. Over a five thousand children and families participated in literacy themed crafts, story time sessions, and family fun across the country.
