The Northeast Division of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) was launched in 2007, in New York City, to engage the insurance industry in the Northeast to work together to provide grants, volunteer service, and leadership in the community. The Division serves the entire Northeast region of the United States, and its leadership comprises the Northeast Division Board of Directors, Chapter Boards of Directors, and Associate Boards as well as the IICF Northeast Division staff.

Since 2007, the Northeast Division has granted more than $8 million to community nonprofits in the areas of education, children at risk, the environment, and disaster preparedness. In addition, the Northeast Division has provided thousands of volunteer hours through IICF Week of Giving.

The Northeast Division contributes to major IICF leadership initiatives such as The IICF Early Literacy Initiative and the Women in Insurance Conference Series, and a collaboration with McKinsey and Company to provide the first quantitative review of philanthropic giving in the insurance industry.
