IICF is the philanthropic voice of the insurance industry.

The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) unites the insurance industry in philanthropic giving, contributing grants and volunteer service that strengthen the communities where we live and work. IICF has served as the philanthropic voice and foundation of the insurance industry for more than thirty years, providing nearly $57 million in community grants and $13+ million in volunteer service value.

IICF has made this meaningful impact possible through the generous support of the industry and by partnering with over one thousand local nonprofit and charitable organizations, together serving our communities and neighbors in need.

What We Do

As the philanthropic voice of the insurance industry, IICF raises awareness of the industry's charitable contributions and fosters opportunities for collective community impact by bringing insurance professionals together to give back. IICF connects the insurance industry through philanthropy and partners with local nonprofit organizations, awarding critical grant-funding and providing valuable volunteer service in our communities. By doing so we:

Help neighbors in need by awarding grants to nonprofit and charitable partners advancing community well-being

The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation includes the Midwest, Northeast, Southeast, and Western Regions in the US,
in addition to the IICF UK and IICF Canada internationally. Eleven chapters and twelve Associate Boards enable broader regional engagement.

Through regional and chapter leadership, and participation from Associate Boards, IICF awards grants and provides volunteer service to nonprofit and charitable partners serving a range of focus areas, including children at risk, housing and food insecurity, health and human services, military veterans, social mobility, the environment, disaster preparedness and relief and more.
